An obsession

To say that my boys are obsessed with angry birds might be an understatement.  And to say that angry birds makes me absolutely crazy is another understatement.

They learned to play only a couple of months ago and now they eat, sleep, and breathe angry birds.  When they earn time to play on the tablet, its what they spend their whole time playing.  When they aren't playing then they're talking about playing it.  And when they're not doing that, they're acting it out, or drawing about it, or creating an angry birds version of "paper-rock-scissors" ("birds-pigs-eggs"), or planning their own angry birds birthday party, you get the picture.  Claire is even slightly obsessed (because the boys are) and she doesn't mind pretending to be the pigs.

What have we gotten ourselves into?

  1. I doubt it helps that Angry Birds merchandise has taken over the stores! We've been lucky- while both kids are obsessed with apps in general (I sweat Camille's first word was "phone?"), they haven't latched on to a particular one for long. I think the most enduring favorite for Daniel has been Jetpack Joyride.

  2. Wow! that's a great picture clark! Inpressive! Boys somehow are engineered to be obsessive about video games and screen time. :(
