Science Experiments

If you saw my facebook post a few days ago you would know that the boys have really been into science projects lately.  For Clark's spring break last week he requested a new experiment each day, so we obliged.

We experimented with shaving cream:

We made an 8-layer liquid tower:

We made a lava lamp:

We also tried to make a vanishing styrofoam cup (which didn't work) and a polymer (that he had made in school and we recreated--sort of like Gak or a mixture of white glue and borax).

And a week earlier, we babysat some friends for the evening and Adrian took the reins and helped them each make homemade sidewalk chalk:

Science is pretty awesome, I have to admit. :)  Can't wait to do some more!
