Adam loves gnawing on anything he can get into his mouth, which is usually a finger (mine or his!). I was holding him and eating a pear and decided to let him have a go at it. He acted as if it was manna from heaven and would NOT let me take it out! So I put it in this mesh bag and let him gnaw to his hearts content. He since has only had a few other solids (bananas and applesauce--who feeds their kids rice cereal anyways? blech!) and does fine with a spoon. He's sure getting bigger!
