What do you get when you cross a curious toddler, a hot burner, and a mom who had just walked away to drain the pasta?

Yeah, this.



It didn't look like this until this morning, but yesterday evening he was obviously in a lot of pain. For about 2 hours if I wasn't running his hand under cold water or giving him a cool bath he was crying and saying "Hot. Hot!" It was so sad. Luckily this morning he acts like it isn't even there, so I think he's going to be okay. Poor guy...
