Clark's bottom front tooth was hit by a frisbee a couple of years ago so we knew it was going to be the first to come out. It was barely wiggly and at his last dentist appointment we were told that it would still be a while.
Then last Friday I noticed that it was looking really strange. Upon further inspection, I noticed that his adult tooth was growing in behind and it pushed the baby tooth into a laying-down position. To make things worse, his baby tooth had been broken in two pieces. Luckily we asked a dentist friend the next night and he suggestd that we go get it pulled.

Tuesday was the big day. Clark was really brave (a little nervous, but such a good sport) and the hygienist was amazing. She took his mind off of things and got him distracted enough not to freak out about the shot. And it was over within minutes. And they gave him a tiny little treasure box to put his tooth in for the tooth fairy.
And now he has a cute toothless smile.
He got 75 cents from the tooth fairy and all is well.

What a trooper!
