Mississippi

A week ago (Friday) we had the opportunity to drive down to Tennessee and be with Adrian's brother's family as they were sealed (in the Memphis temple) to their sweet adopted son.  Then we continued on to Mississippi (where they live) to spend time with cousins and play, play, play!  We had a great time and celebrated Clark's 6th birthday there (another post).  The 8-ish hour car ride -each way- didn't do well for this pregnant lady, but the trip was fun and definitely worth it (though don't ask me to do it again for a while!).

Reading books during the car ride (Grandma H came with us!).  We had to rent this van because ours was (is), unfortunately, having issues, but it was a much nicer ride--with more space and rear air--so I wasn't complaining too much.

The rest of these pictures are of the kids eating, playing with cousins, and reading with Uncle Conan (who does great voices, apparently).  They don't show all the cousins or all the aunts/uncles but they do show how much fun we had!

 

Thanks again for Eric and April for letting us come and crash your house! We can't wait to come visit again (though maybe not until next year, though. ha!).
