Our May in Pictures

For Easter, my sister and I stayed up late on Saturday night and whipped out three matching skirts and 6 matching bow-ties so our kids could look absolutely darling and matchy-matchy at church.  It was so fun, and the kids were so cute!

At the end of the month, this guy had a birthday! He turned 8 and we had a fun time taking the family mini bowling.  He had a great day and even wanted to decorate his own cake. He also got to be baptized a few days later, which was a neat and great experience for all of us!

Two days later, this little lady had a birthday! She turned 4 and is pretty much the cutest 4-year-old on the planet!  She asked for an Elsa dress, which I made (I was pretty pleased with myself for making up the pattern as well) and helped decorate her "Frozen" cake.  We went swimming as a family and she had a great time.  The highlight, though, was when everyone in the entire public pool sang "happy birthday" to her; she was beaming!
