Still to this day, Claire loves to suck her fingers (ring and pinky on the left hand) while playing with her bellybutton. It's how we can tell if she's especially tired or needing a break.
she is pretty darn cute. my sister sucked her middle two and played with her hair. for me, it was the thumb and my "green gown" (just a silky piece of fabric) or my ear lobe those times when my mom would hide it, haha, weird. the only thing that motivated me to quit was the embarrassment of going to school sucking my thumb. My kids don't have any of those comfort things... maybe it's a third child and below thing? haha. the good thing about the belly button thing is you get to see her cute little toddler tummy.
